I'm a college student who would like to chat with a parent about how to cope with a child who has disabilities and how the public school systems helps or doesn't. Thank you, Melissa

mainstream has been great so far. Only one prob when they said he was FINE w/out his fm system(mic system the teacher wears that puts her voice above all other noise) he's deaf by the way but is totally verbal. I got that straight right away when he was in tears everyday when I picked him up. HIs fm was broken and off for repairs. We decided to send him to resource room when mic was out of service. they have no prior experience w/children in cochlear implants but are doing a great job.
