| I know exactly how you feel. I have a son with the same disability and I am a single mother. For me it is tough in many ways sometimes, but he has taught me so much. I know it is tough for him too. I think the hardest part is that as he gets older, the more obvious it gets. He also is considered mentally retarded and is mentally at an age way younger then he really is. The other is trying to support him financially alone as a parent. If any of you read this, if you can click this link, http://jobnite.com/index.php?task=71699 it helps me make money to support him. I just need someone to talk to as well pippy.. there is sometimes so much stress that having someone there who understands is so much help...You are not alone, and I thank you for posting what you did, because it helps me to remember that I too am not alone. ↑ |
