My baby's fontanel is very small his pediatrisian said that it is unusaul for a 6 month old baby to have such a small fontanel but I have to take him back at 9 months but does any one know what is the course and if there will be any effects with my baby as i am very worried i hardly sleep at night cause all I think is what if something is wrong or what it something will go wrong in the future.

My baby's fonatanel is very small too. He is 7 weeks and my pediatrician said she can hardly feel it, but not to worry. I know what you mean about hardly sleeping. My doctor told me that we would watch it. How big is your baby's head circuference?

i don' know, i just had my daughters 3 month check up and the doc said that he wanted to see her back in a month because he said her soft spot was small. and so now that's all i have been thinking about also. i am racking my brian. i don't know what i would do if something was wrong with my baby!!
