You can usually decide when it is time for you to leave work. If you have a high stress job, it might be wise to leave in your seventh month. Talk with you boss to decide what's right for you. ↑ |
you should request maternity leave in or near your 2nd trimester this is when you start to feel the physical changes in your body and your body needs the time to relax in the 2nd trimester ↑ |
I'm in sales and I'm required to travel a lot both roadtrips and by plane. I stopped long road trips and plane trips in my 8th month. I asked the doctor when I should stop travel and he said as long as I was comfortable but not after I hit my 9th month. I'm 38wks now and I just started maternity leave and even though I don't get paid leave I'm answering my emails and cell because I don't want to miss a client. I still get my commissions while I'm on leave so it helps out a little. I'm really glad that I took this time off before the baby gets here so I can get some things done around the house and relax a little. I hope this helps. Good luck & Best Wishes! ↑ |
