I would love to stay at home!! My oldest son is 8, then i have a 4 year old, and a 2 year old and another one on the way(maybe even 2...we'll find out tues) The problem is I don't think i can afford to stay at home...the basic bills are high enough not to mention the credit cards, ect. I feel so guilty going to work i am almost depressed. I love my job and i do make my own hours but i want to be with my kids as much as possible!! I feel this inner struggle and don't know what to do!! I'm not sure what my question is but does anyone else feel this way??

well Kristen---I think that what you have is a hard decision on your hands. First of all? Can you make your own hours to the point that you don't have to pay someone else your entire pay to watch them. I think that once you have more than one child--It is almost impossible to work and make the money you need to live. At least where I live, Pretty much ALL of your paycheck goes to that person taking care of your children. I have worked forever, but I stayed home for the first year of both of my children...I now stay home full time and I love being here with my children. I do miss the people that I worked with. But, do I miss the other stuff...Not really---the joy of spending with my children out weighs that. I would suggest making your own hours so that you are getting the full benefit of your paycheck. You said that you need to pay the basic bills and credit cards... Weel girlie---all you can do is try your hardest. You can't get any better than that!
I really hope that you can make it work for you and I wish you all the luck in your pregnancy! :)
