I have been a member here now for several weeks and have watched this forum, reading most of the current posts daily...
I think something that many many users here need to remember and keep in the forefront of their minds is...
When there is a legitimate birthmother posting here that her baby or babies are REAL, they are part of her, they are her life. When you email the Mom and reduce yourself to begging it really speaks volumes, loud and clear...a message I am sure you are not wanting said.
Being a Mom (or Dad) is the greatest joy most women ever feel, and if you havent had children I am sure you are very very willing to do whatever it takes to adopt one or more, but these birthmoms are people, women just like us with hearts...we need to remember compassion!!
I would also encourage those that havent had children that are on here wanting to adopt to take some parenting classes, and get your whole mind and body ready for the child. Being a parent goes so much deeper than the size of your income, or the size of your backyard, or some of the other things I have read here...Its the up all night, the patience, the dirty diapers, the sick crying phases, all mingled in with the praising and hug and kisses and love...I have no doubt that everyone here posting will be the most exceptional parents ever, all I am saying is just to be truly ready for the entire commitment...
Best of luck to all of you, may your hearts be filled the excitement that adoption has to offer!! ↓
