| I am a African American Hopeful Adoptive Mom, Wife, Step Mom, God Mom Are you married? Yes How Long? 14yrs Religious/ Religion Yes / Christian Do I have any children No Maternal / One Step Son Can I conceive my own children? No Why? When I was 18 I was rushed to the hospital with a large tumor - grapefruit size, I had severe damage to both ovaries and was cystic. Though doctors saved my ovaries, they told me then I may not be able to conceive - after years of treatments and more surgeries I was diagnosed for endometriosis, several birthcontrol methods to reduce the bleeding cysts and growths, steroids, then breaks in between where my doctor hoped I would get pregnant- never happened - I was rushed once again and had to have a hysterectomy. How long have I thought about motherhood? I have wanted to be a mother for over 10yrs but there was another plan for me. Why haven't we adopted already? The reason we haven't adopted yet is because we can't afford the fees which range $16-35,000 Why not get a loan? The reason we won't simply go get a loan for it - is because we don't want to go in debt with a new born- we would rather spend that money on the baby and the baby education. What type of adoption are we choosing, Open Independent Adoption, we want our forever mother to choose us for herself and build a relationship with us. If I could become pregnant would I still consider adoption? Yes, Once my baby was older ( teens) I would have become a foster mom. What do you offer a child and his/her mother they choose you? The truth! I won't lie and say I have all the riches in the world and a home with a white fence and dog. I won't promises riches and glory. Yes I have a home - I have a regular wired fence, I do have a dog.lol a 5yr old yorkie. Me and my hubby are no where near rich but we have the financial means to raise a family. We offer love support, understanding and patience also guidance. We are a fun family - silly at times - yet serious when we need to be, we love to laugh and play and enjoy life. We travel 8-10 times a year and plan family outings. Are you open to gender? Yes Are you open to ethnicity or prefer same ethnicity? Havent since we married, think im 2 old LOL Why? to old How long have you thought about motherhood? Why haven't we adopted already? We have a open adoption with the twins , their bio parents get them on some weekends Are you open to gender? | Are you married? yes How Long? 5 years Religious/ Religion? catholic Do you have any children? step-son Can you conceive my own children? no Why? was very sick at young age, ended up in a coma and paralized, paralysis gone but fever was 105 and I cooked by ovaries. How long have you thought about motherhood? since 10 years old Why haven't we adopted already? money and trust Why not get a loan? dont want to have to "buy" a child What type of adoption are we choosing, private, semi/open/closed whatever the birthmother wanted If I could become pregnant would you still consider adoption?. yes and foster care What do you offer a child and his/her mother they choose you? a house with a large yard, two pupies, a loving father and mother. large extended family Are you open to gender? yes Are you open to ethnicity or prefer same ethnicity? ↓ prefer caucasian ↑ |

I had to have an alation done at 25. and a hysterectomy at 27. How long have you thought about motherhood? I’ve been a mother since I was 19. Why haven't we adopted already? Trying to save money for the process Why not get a loan? We don’t want to be in debt that far with a child. That is no way to give them the life that they deserve What type of adoption are we choosing? We are open to what ever the birth mother wants. If I could become pregnant would you still consider adoption?. Absolutely. What do you offer a child and his/her mother they choose you? LOVE. there will never be a point in the childs life that they will wonder if they are loved. We will spoil them when we are able, we also have a large extented family we are all very close.
