| We were told we would be matched very quickly because families like ours were in high demand and yet 6 months later --nothing (and I mean nothing)! Our social worker has never even called us with an update, all correspondence has been initiated by me and then it's rushed and I get very little information out of her. I think adoption agencies will tell hopeful parents what they want to hear because they need the AP money to support the BM. Once they get you through the door and your money too there's no need to cater to you any more -- It's very annoying and I feel totally betrayed by our agency's lack of concern for us. All I can suggest is that you keep calling them -- the squeaky wheel get the grease. ↑ |
