Name: Barbie & Tad [ Original Post ] Hi, we are Barbie and Tad in PA. We are in our mid/late 30's and have one adopted little girl Ava. We would love a second child, hopefully within the next year, so our second can be close in age to his/her sister. We have an open adoption with Ava's birth mommy - she gets lots of emails, phone calls, packages, photos, etc. and we even visit with her, even though she is 2/3 of the way across the country! We are looking for a birth mommy that would want emails, letters, and photos for life - visits are an option only if the birth mommy want it (we would LOVE it, but only if birth mommy was comfortable with this!). We would be delighted to put it in writing - we would be happy to have the birth mom's attorney (who we will pay for, of course) put this into an agreement. Of course, we would want to get to know the birth mommy beforehand (through emails, phone calls, etc) and have her get to know us, so that we can make sure that we love each other like family for always!
