THIS IS FOR EVERYONE WHO COMES TO THIS SITE---If you received an email that is written in broken English from a person who claims to have a baby for adoption, do NOT respond. These are nearly all Cameroon scams. These people are hoping that your desperation to adopt an infant will cause you to send them money. Statistics show that the person does not have a baby or child for adoption. You must have an international homestudy,INS approval, a referral, and passports. They are lying to you when they say that you can adopt directly, without a lot of expense.

The theme used on most of these letters is the same. The child is somehow abandoned. Either one, or both parents have tragically died or been killed. No relative is available to care for the child and the poor father of the orphanage is seeking a loving family to provide a home. The child is of course healthy and Caucasian. .

Another scenario they use is a young woman just needs airfare to get back to the United States to deliver her baby and give it to your family. Even if there is such a woman, and she is really pregnant, this would be illegal. Many countries do not grant visas to women who are very pregnant because they may try to defect.

Many foreign women of countries with poor economies want to have their babies in the U.S. because any infant born here is automatically a citizen. All U.S. citizens who are children without income or support are eligible for an education, healthcare, and food assistance.

Did anyone ever tell you that if something is too good to be true, it probably is not true? These private Cameroon adoptions are not true; they are scams devised to get money from “rich Americans.”
