Hi - I have been reading through some of the posts and would like to know more about you. I am considering adoption for my son due in Feb.

Carolyn - I saw your profile and was wondering since your hubby is a pilot does that mean he is gone a lot of the time? I like that you guys are a little bit older parents, but are you sure you could handle two new babies?

Dreamer - Can you email me your profile at [email protected]

Gaylin - Do you have a website or can you email me a profile too?

Anyone else can email me profiles too, but understand I am not 100% decided on adoption yet. Thanks

Hey Julie,
We would be happy to have you visit our website- http://home.rr.nc.com/karenandphil or call us at 1-866-814-0756. We completely understand that you have not decided yet- this is big step and you will need to meet people before you select a family if you do chose adoption.
Best wishes,

HI Julie-

Hi ! Thanks so much for noticing us !

Alot of people don't realize how much time off that pilots have; My hubby as an airline pilot has 15 days off a month ! There are few high paying jobs out there that allows so much time off, and as a result, allows for great family time ! We are very fortunate that he makes a great salary that allows me to be a stay at home mommy now to our son. I am 40 and he is 42, and we are both in great shape and we live active lifestyles. We live in a country club community, belong to the countryclub and pool club, and love to ski winter weekends. We also own a 28 foot travel trailer RV which we really enjoy. Believe me, I am thoroughly up to as many little ones as we are blessed with ! I waited 14 years for them, and couldn't be happy with my new job as a mom !

Please feel free to call us anytime- 1-800-643-2962

Thank you so much !

God bless !

My husband and I are looking to adopt. We have been married for a few years now and are wanting to expand our family with pitter patter of little feet.. We would like to have the birth family part of the childs life as we would want them to know their background, but would respect the birthparents wishes either way. Our family is very close as we live all live close by each other. We are big animal lovers as we have 3 cats, and I volunteer at the shelters during the week. My husband is a hardworker as he is a tech at mercedes benz, a jack of all trades, a singer and musican. I am also a musican, painter and I love to draw. We have so much to offer a child that is brought into our life. If any birthmoms like to talk my email is [email protected]  hope to hear from you.  ?

Hi Julie -
It's great that you are consider your options for your son. I am not seeking to adopt, but I will email you some good pregnancy and adoption resource info.

To keep from getting overwhelmed by tons of emails, you may want to share what state you are from, and whether or not it is important for prospective adopting families to be in the same state, a state close by, or not specific. This may help narrow your search. you can also list other criteria as well (ie: stay at home parent, childless, religious preference, etc.).

Take Care -
Nicole

I for one can vouch that Carolyn can certainly handle two more babies. That lady has the whole package and I just love the dickens out of her and Lou. Any kid would be lucky to grow up with Carolyn & Lou as parents and Andrew as a big brother.

Best of luck in your decision, Julie.

My Mom had 3 of us (back to back) My sis and I are 10 months apart, my sis and my brother are 14 months apart. She never had any probs. I think Carloyn and her DH could do jusdt fine with 2 babies. People handle twins, etc all the time.
Best of Luck to you JulieK! There are some really awesome ppl on this board.
