I am wondering as I am pretty new to the board, does anyone get emails back from these Birthmoms on here ?

How do you know ?

Thank you very much.

Nope, never gotten a single response from any birthmom.
I just recently discovered this medium myself.

For some reason, I feel compelled to response to the ads, but I have never gotten a response. I will say since I have listed my email on this site, I do get more junk mail from people needing help in other countires with financial difficulties.

Hi,

I received TWO replies, but no contact after that. I wrote back, but never heard anything again.

I still keep posting...who knows...maybe it will help. : )

I haven't ever hear of any legit connections (matches) made from this forum. I have never been contacted by a bmom - only spammed by Camaroon and Liberia people begging for us to adopt them or their child!

I read these everyday. I read old and new posted and ready very carefuly. I have noticed a patteren in the postings of PBM. On the other hand most of the PAP do not listen either and post to women who say they want no more families due to haveing one. I did post because that brings me to this subject.

Has any PAP ever e-mailed directly or just posted. I posted to someone on here and heard nothing. But she also asked that the PAP's e-mail her directly. So I e-mailed her. I did hear back from her and most of the others posted that they were not hearing from her. Reasons I am guessing:
1) you did not e-mail
2) if you did you went into this big spill on why they should pick you, how much money you could offer, or wrote a big spill on why you want a baby.

Mind you not all do this and no before you ask we have not adopted yet. I have been e-mailed to almost all the ones I e-mail but not that I post to. Reasons I am guessing I am responded back to is because when I e-mail I just state that I saw the post and if they were interested e-mail me back and left my website. Once they e-mailed me back it was with what they wanted and questions. I then told them my story and what I wanted. We would match or not. People talk about scams. With more carefulness it can be avoided, mind you I am not saying it will all the time. We have been looking and active on the boards for a year now. We have only matched once and it was a scam I do believe but no proof.

I know you want children and people are praying on that. I have two children of my own and I guess thats why it does not work for them to scam us as we want another child but not to whatever it takes to do it. If it happens it does. I have a friend of 14 years who wants a baby desperately and I see what she goes thru daily with the treatments and the waiting. I am not saying that you should not go at it full force but I have seen PAP's that wrote big long messages to these PBM. That could be a problem for no responses. Try to shorten it, if they ask you to e-mail then post and e-mail them a short message. If they want you they will let you know and will be more apt to call you or e-mail you for info if you do that.

Sory so long but just a suggestion

I have posted to many and heard back from several... Some do respond, some don't. Best of luck, everyone!
