I am interested in adopting two children from overseas. I was wondering what the likelihood of being able to adopt both children at once would be? I am considering adopting a brother and sister together, but I don't know if the agency will allow this. Has anyone else adopted two together before?

Ursula,
Friends of ours just got back from Russia with three children. They adopted twins 4 years old (girl & boy) and their 5 year old brother. Also, we have friends who several years ago adopted two children from Russia and both were infants when they were brought to the US (5 mos. and 9 mos.) and the babies were not related to eachother. So to answer your question, sure there are countries who will let you adopt more than one child at a time. Good luck.

Good luck to you. I have no idea how that works but I think its great that you are going ot keep the two siblings together. I hate to see when they are split up and sent to seperate homes. Good for you and I wish you the best.

HI ! Originally we were interested in international adoption, and I can tell you, with a sibling group you will not have any problem.

Some countries have restrictions on non-related children, but no problem at all with siblings !

Best of luck to you !
