Good afternoon!
I come here often and read the board and post from time to time. I have a daughter that is adopted so I like to read about adoption topics. Anyway, as we all know Christmas is approaching quickly and it seems the closer Christmas gets the farther behind I get! (We have the tree up and the lights on but that’s it lol) So, every morning brings its new challenges for me and my family to get out the door on time! My daughter gets up early and wants to watch any Christmas movies etc that we have recorded the night before which in turn gives me some "mom time" in the morning to get my day started. This morning we all got up LATE and so there was no "mom time". lol We all rushed around finding all the things needed for the day ahead. I got the baby dressed, found her fav doll and sippy cup and out the door we ran. I dropped her off at my mom’s house with a quick run down for the day and again I was off with a flash. I got to my job and had a very busy morning. A few hours into the morning I got a phone call from my mom. She said in a very firm voice "what are you doing trying to make this child pigeon toed?" And of course I had no idea what she was talking about and I said Mom of course not what is the matter. She laughed and said after you dropped of the baby I sat down to take off her boots and but on here house shoes and her boots were on the WRONG feet!! I told my mother what a crazy morning we had had and she responded by saying I can tell!!!! Any way, long story short don’t let the holiday RUSH you into missing the simple things that can make you laugh like your shoes on the wrong feet! I hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday season! ↓
