I understand wanting to adopt b/c I was there too. I just got my son 3 weeks ago.
This fourm is a breeding ground for SCAMMERS!!!! I seriously doubt anyone has successfully found a REAL birthmother on here. If you really are looking to adopt there are other REAL way to find your child. This site is NOT The way!!! ? |

Well first off we visited agencies in our area and choose one that we felt worked for us. We also put together an adoption profile on parent profiles.com (Of course we had our homestudy completed first). These are some places we went to. The first is little bit of heaven adoption referral
http://littlebitofh eavenadoptionreferral.com/ I t is $100 to join and $250 to her if she finds you a match. Now, she works with ALOT of different agencies so the fees for each situation are all over the place. YOU choose who to be presented to, you will get an email of every situation as she gets them. If you are interested you contact her to put you in. I can not say enough good things about Betty.. The last one is called Project Cuddle. They do interventions to prevent newborn abandonment. They were featured on Oprah so for a while it was ridiculous to even put in with them, but the hooplah has died down and it would be worth a shot. These are the ones that we went with and were matched in less than 3 months, 10 weeks I think to be exact. I agree - there has been alot of people on this site with not so good intentions.
I just wanted to add my two cents ------- We found our Birthmom on this very site - 2+ years ago. I still belive that it was meant to be - and don't misunderstand me - I WAS CONTACTED BY MANY SCAMMERS. I guess you just never know and when we are contacted by a potential Birthmom - we want it so badly to be the real thing. If I may offer a word of advice - just follow your heart. I belive in my heart that everyone deserves a chance - and in the end, those that are trying to scam and hurt us - will find their karma.
