And while I do belive that's a wonderful idea...I have another idea for you...Why don't you buy a nice heart shaped locket for your birthmother. And after the baby is born you can put a picture in it for her. That ways the baby will always be closest to her heart. It's just an idea. :) ↑ |

Are you talking about the new kind of ultrasounds that are put on video and set to music? If so, I think that would be appropriate and they are not expensive- around 50-70. And really I would think the gift would be more for you - our birthmom offered to do one but did not want to keep it- even though she wanted an open adoption she did not want that as a reminder- so be careful when you ask or maybe wait a little while and feel the situation out. Also I think the necklace is a great idea- I once again would wait until after the adoption is complete- we gave a diamond necklace to our bm at the hopsital and at the last minute she chose to parent- she had every right to do that- but on top of other expenses we helped with we were out a diamond necklace that was sentimental ( interlocking circles- representing our new interwoven lives together through open adoption). | Hey -I have to be honest our bm was in CA also and she new about them- I am not sure the have them in my area- NC but they have them in Chicago- try the internet/phone book- they are little shops popping up everywhere that do them in a store- sort of like a photo shop but for ultrasounds. ↑ |
