I know that Christmas is just around the corner, but it's never to early to start thinking about ways to help others who are in need. And Christmas is about giving, and ALL about children.

1. Toys for Tots
2. Angel tree...not quite sure if this is nationwide
3. salvation army
4. Barnes and Noble ...they have a program that you can purchase new books and they in turn give them to mothers in need to give to their kids.
5. Local churchs

if anyone has anything else to add, please do. Thanks for reading!

We do the angel tree. Austin picks a boy his age. Allyssa picks a girl her age. This year we will pick a baby boy, for Collin to give a gift to. They have the angel giving tree everwhere, I think???

Hey you! hope all is well! Did you see my post to you late last night?

The angel tree is found in malls and stores. It has cards with first names and ages of children. They are children in need of some Christmas cheer and gifts.Sometimes the cards have clothes and shoe sizes, sometimes they tell you what the child would like.....its always different. its a great way to give!

The Angel Tree I am pretty sure is in every WalMart. Every year we go to an agency in our area that is an outreach program and adopt a family, most communities have groups that are directly to help families in your local area so we chose a family close and deliver thier christmas gifts and goodies with an entire christmas dinner. To me this teaches my children there are many worse off then them.

All Childrens hospitals also have adoption programs which are great for sick kids in need
