I just want to let everyone know that thanks to a very brave IP MIchelle Abrego was caught on tape tonight.
The CBS station here was there and had a mic in the IPs purse.
It takes alot for a hopeful IP to do this knowing she is being scammed. She flew to Houston and met with her. She in my book is one of our heroes.
I would like to thank her for being very couragous and wanting to help get this scammer of the streets. This is Michelle's third time to run this scam using the same story. She was arrested in Feb of 98, And in June of 04 after scamming us. Please if anyone has been contacted by Michelle call the CBS station in Houston and ask for Jeff McShan. He is the reporter that was there tonight.

Jeff McShan was the reporter that did the story on Belinda Ramirez, another Texas scammer that scammed us. (One of two TX scammers that scammed us.)

Michelle has been calling me for the last three days, over a dozen times; she called my home, my cell phone, and my husbands cell phone. I cancelled my adoptads account early ( I wasn't going to renew anyway) because I didn't want any of her emails either.
She called even 7am this morning, all three numbers ! I'd call her a stalker ! ↑ |

Michelle called me earlier in the week! She was dumb enough to give the same info as she did yrs ago! I knew it was her because I'd already read all her background info and it matched perfectly - she didn't even try to disguise herself!
She wanted me to fly out to meet her and I called her bluff and told her I would be out there in November and was close by her - she said that would be great! LOL! I told her I had a cousin who lived in TX and she thought that was cool...until I told her he worked for the Dallas FBI (which he really does!) - all of a sudden she had to get off the phone 'cause she had to pee! Guess what...she never called back! But I have her ph#!!! I already reported her!

I think Tamara is a little premature in this posting. It is not a good idea to post this stuff. Why don't you just let all the scammers know Tamara what length people go to to get them busted. Now I bet they will all want to check purses. Busted meaning what?

I don't think Tamara is wrong here in posting. She was scammed by Michelle in the past and what goes around comes so to speak. Michelle is getting hers.
I am sure that Jeff was on the phone right away with law enforcement and she is probably already being watched or being served with a warrant.
All they need to do is access her phone records, and they will find willing people from all over the country obviously who will testify against if need be.
Let people posting on this site and others be a deterrant to these witches with no souls.
They will get theirs.

Oh yes, she emailed me on 10/18 and then I had a 15 minute conversation with her when she called my toll free number. She said she found us in parent profiles, but we are not registered there. She sounded believable, but boy/girl twins are always a big red flag!! Said she was due 2/16/07. Really sad!

Wow aren' you full of info. Actually if you would like the whole story. She scammed us in may of 04. She was arrested then for fraud and served 6 m of an 18m sentence.
And Erica, we called the cops in Houston, the asst. DA that prosecuted her in 04, and Jeff was talking with an FBI agent and that is where and how the wire was placed. Erica1 do you need any other info?
Would you like Michelles number I will gladly give it to you. I called her Fri. at 10pm and told her she could thank me for her being busted again. I saw the story about the other PBM that was a scammer and posted about Michelle. In 3 days I had 8 women email me about Michelle. And we all talked by phone or email. Michelle is in it all for the attention. She just wants people talking to her and fussing over her. It is sad I think most the scammers are n it for that reason.
Again I thank the IP that had the courage to fly to Houston and meet with her even knowing she was a scammer and I know it broke her heart. I don't want to release her name. But she may have already posted about it on abc.
Hopefully Erica this helps you to know all areas were covered. police, FBI, reporters and DAs office.
