Scam Buster,
I do appreciate all your hard work to help clean up this board, but just wondering... unless you have a very elite internet service and computer, BabyCrowd does not just pop up on your screen every time you sit down in front of your computer, does it?
My point... if you dislike this forum so much, why not just leave? It's not affecting your daily life, is it? I, for one, find this board a source of daily entertainment, much like the local police log. Most boards I check every day only have a new post or two every couple of days. This one changes daily. Of course I despise all the scammer activity on here as much as the next person, but shutting it down would just push the scammers onto other boards. Dishonest, scamming, unethical people have been around since the world began. If you think this board is like a rotting peach and 'gives birth' to fruit flies out of nowhere, you're mistaken. The scammers are everywhere and if they weren't spending their time here, they would be figuring out how to get on the other boards all the faster.
Shouldn't very legitimate, smart person coming here already know the dangers of dealing online for *anything*???!! It's clear many of these people are scammers from the get go. If a bmom does seems legit and someone is pursuing a relationship with them, they should be smart enough to do all the necessary research and take all the necessary steps to catch the flaws sooner or later. If you don't want to lose money in bmom expenses, then make it known you won't pay bmom expenses until after the papers are signed and the baby is in your arms, or not at all. One of the wonderful ladies, who used to post here, did just that and they have adopted two beautiful infant girls in less than two years, *no* bmom expenses paid!!
Isn't this all just common sense??? Something we *all* should have learned many years ago, if we are looking to adopt a child?? Just a thought. ↑ |
