My husband and I have a wonderful 5-year-old son through a family adoption situation. Adoption is something I have always known in my heart was the path I would take to be a mother. For over two years now I have yearned to be a mother again and just recently, my husband turned to me in the car and said "I am ready for our baby girl". It was music to my ears. Of course we would love a daughter, but truth is we would love any child, I believe that our path is laid out and the right child will become part of our family.

I will be honest though, we are not wealthly people as in money, but we are wealthly in love and family. We are middle class, I worked for 10 years but took off last year to be at home with my son. Currently I am an at-home-mom and a sub for our local schools. My husband has 3 beautiful children from a previous marriage age 15 and twins 12 who live with their mother but we have them quite often. Together we have a wonderful 5 year-old so. Your child will have older brothers and a sister to teach them, play with them, and protect them. My husband has the greatest sense of humor and I feel I am quite compassionate.
Family is extremely important to us. I have 3 sisters and 2 brothers. My husband has more siblings then we can count. My parents live 7 minutes from us and love being grandparents, a total of 20 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren!
