Has anyone else been contacted by this BLAMELONGE person. She told me she was from France but was in Oklahoma right now and told me to give her my full name address so that she could arrange flight to get the baby girl over here to me. Help Please I am affraid this is a scam and dont know what to do. I have not even had a homestudy or started any of the proceedings. ↓

Hi! Without a homestudy even if it is real, you can't do anything. Absolutely don't give money!
Did you call the agency yet ?
They got my homestudy done in 4 weeks. Where in CO do you live ?

| Like I stated in the other post about this, even if you had a home study in her state you have to use an Agency. I had a situation from the UK and I talked to an international specialty Quad A attorney. If the baby was born here you can adopt the baby, if this baby was born in another country you will have to get the permission from her country and the attorney said we would have to wait one year to ask for citizenship from the country. Her situation if she is from France is not just going to be easy adoption ride. And depending on how long she has been here an ad has to be ran in France to give any potential father a chance to respond. ↑ |

Ultimatemom lives in CO; CO is a mandated agency state, there are only 5 states in the US that are so mandated, CO is one of them.
I was just saying to her, if any situation is legitimate, she needs to get her homestudy done first by a licenced, CO adoption agency.
There is no other option here, unless you are doing foster adopt, then you can have your homestudy done by a county social services department. ↑ |

When I said there was nothing to talk about if the BM is in Cameroon, at that time, I meant it to Ntanyu who said she is a friend of hers.

| jk adoption I received the same email and another one. She has referred to being kidnapped and married for 45 years, however, the pics she sent of Brenda and dad, dad does not look like he could have been married to anyone for 45 years as he looks around 40 himself (would have made him getting married as an infant). Because things didn't add up I forwarded the emails to my attorney. I believe this to be a scam also. ↑ |
