| I am so verry sorry... scamming has thrown me into major grief at least once. When she stated we need money to buy a contract, I could not get hold of hubby and every alarm i had went off. I told her sorry we must meet you first, then she said sorry, you won't trust me with your money.... and i thought, no, we must meet you first, no double talk. That was when she said don't bother coming to meet us, I am convinced it was a scam. I/We have had more dreams ripped from us from reclaiming family, 30 at least over seven years time. We are likely throwing in the towel and just being a couple. ↑ |

She conned these couples for money, encouraged them to decorate their nursery, buy plane tickets, buy clothing, furniture and other personalized items for a baby that never existed. She emotionally rape them. She ripped their dreams and their hopes from them. She told innocent children they would be big brothers and big sisters and got them all excited, knowing all along she was out to con. All she wanted was money. She also sends photos of a chunky fair skinned boy who appears to be about 10 and it in a purple and white football uniform. She says this is Curt, her 10 year old. WE BELIEVE THIS TO BE HER SON She sometimes: claims to be a single mom to 7 year old twins. claims to be a single mom to a 10 year old boy named Curt. claims to have a boyfriend named Bryan/Brian who is in college for his masters. (she has spelled it both ways) claims to have breast cancer and is getting chemo (now how can you get chemo AND be pregnant at the same time! DUH! Such a stupid bitch!) claims to have had a daughter who died of cancer. claims she works for Republican National Committee. And is a devoted Republican. claims to be a recovering Meth addict ↑ |

My husband is worried about the same thing and says that he doesn't want to end up on 20/20, he just sits helplessly on the sidelines and watches me experience the highs and lows of this online world. We are going thru an agency and he prefers to stick to that.... but after hearing this story you can never really know! I am sorry for your loss!!!! ↑ |

| I don't believe in mothers surrending children unless there is major substance abuse, mental illness or they are in jail. I believe that adoption should be reserved for the most part to abandoned or orphaned children. However, I would not wish this horror on anyone. Sounds like Bella/Melissa is a sociopath who belongs behind bars. ↑ |

| Attorney fees were refunded. Agency fees will roll over. The money we lost due to plane tickets, remodeling, clothing, etc takes a bug chunk out of us but it can be replaced, a piece of our heart is lost forever. Some on the board knows how this feels. It's very painful. Now to recommend: If you need a good adoption attorney in the Minneapolis, MN area, I suggest Gary Debele. ↑ |

| Responding to AMC regarding the scammer, I received two emails back to back with the name Chantal Belle, I am wondering if this is the same person, yet waiting to scam someone else?
