I am very upset to have to write this. I am all of the things in this title. Shocked,Confused and Mad. I was visited by a detective today accusing me of trying to scam people. We soon found out though that it was not me and the person it was has been caught. Although I will not say any names I will say this person was one of my best friends. My family opened our home and lifes to this girl only to learn what she was doing. I think I have figured it all out though now. When I would come into the room she would sign offline or if she was on the phone she would hang up. She was using my name , pictures and info. She also hurt many innocent people including me. I have a daughter named Madison and I am not pregnant or have not been in over a year. She also used my daughters picture caliming it was her neice. I am very hurt by this and feel the need to apologize to everyone else who has been hurt by this but it won't happen again. Not from my house anyway. My (friend) and I use that term lightly has been given a paid trip to our local nut ward needless to say. Sounds to me like somone got caught and is now trying to get the heat off her.
If the detectives just came today to interview you, there is no way your "friend" would be in the "nut ward". And why would someone be placed in psychiatric care for scamming people. I believe there is a process that one would have go through before you would be certified. ↑ |

I was given this site name and her screen name because the officer wanted me to see what was written. I could give everyone his name and number to contact him. | TheRealMe, You should do your research better. * *The someone used my computer and set me up and was scamming people, BUT it wasn't me* * has been used so many times. No one ever believes that excuse anymore. For one thing the dective would be getting a hold of the people scammed from your computer not just giving you a heads up about the situation. And it sure doesn't look too good for you not to remember your own email address. from hotmail to yahoo....And for your friend to already to be put in a "nuthouse" justice doesn't work so quickly. I agree with Tired -
We - adoptive parents are in this together - its not a competition its about making sure we are all safe in this process. I am happy to share info if I see someone being taken advantage of and would encourage others to do the same. Lets all celebrate when we have our families but watch each others backs.
Please if you have had contact - contact the proper authorities. Otherwise she is likely to be someone new (or already is) in the next few weeks.
There is a child with this woman who for all we know is at risk in some way. ↑ |
