I know of one woman who adopted a baby girl last year that met here.
Also, we were matched with a young lady I met on here that had a baby boy in December. The adoption failed though however, we got three hours from the hospital in Wisconsin after driving 18 hours to get her phone call she just couldn't give him up. ↑ |

That must have torn your heart out. How is your search going now? Are you going through an agency or private? We selected an agency so they can screen the birthmom for us. But we did hear that disruptions and disappointments can happen. ↑ |
Our agency in Colorado did screen her thoroughly, as well as the agency we hired in Wisconsin. Things just happen.
Colorado is a mandatory agency state, agencies must handle all adoptions here, but we are allowed to find birthmoms on our own with the screening and finalization handled by the agency. This is called designated , private adoption.
