| Hi everyone, I'm gonna be a bit short here cuz I'm very sleepy, We had the baby August 1st at 629pm he was 5lbs 9oz cuz i was 36 wks only!! hE is GEORGOUS so pretty.. I signed the papers at 6pm this evening, We had an entrustment ceremony and I left the hospital! EVeryone was very happy and sad both but it was a beautiful to see the afamily happy and very warm! | Dez.....definately a precious picture. I can't imagine what you're going through. As an adoptive mom, it's the most wonderful experience of your life, but I just can't comprehend what you must be feeling. Your thoughts remind me so much of our daughter's birthmom. Yes, she was content and happy that she had chosen adoption, but she went through so much hurt. She tried to focus on our happiness. But you know what, you have to concentrate on yourself too Dez. It's ok to be sad and upset. Allow yourself time to grieve no matter how long it takes. We are here for you. You're in my prayers. Lori ↑ |

| Thank you for the kind words. It's hard and I'm sure I will hurt probably forever but also I'm happy for the afamily and they have in a way adopted us into there family so it's nice that we all can stay in contact. I got somemore pics today but I'm going to save them for our journal site! Melainie and I will be keeping a running journal for at least the next 18 years where we will share our journeys together and apart... HUGZ TO Yall!!!!! Thank you so much for your support and while the hurt will never go away I will learn to cope and manage it. ↑ |

| Hi, I was surprised when I looked and this post was at the top again!! It may me get a warm fuzzy feeling. I wanted to thank everyone here who helped me through this adoption process it meant allot, Thank You for your kind words of support and for listening to me rate and rave during my HIGH HORMONE times..LOL Baby Jack is doing WONDERFUL!! Hi afamily loves him so much they are wonderful folks too!! Today he is 12 days old!! We all love him so much! His amom is just great with him and they are buiding a strong loving relationship. I look forward to keeping in contact with them and also pictures and updates. I wont be around as much now but I will pop in and post a pic every now and again of Jack! thanks again SSOOOOOOOOOO mUch Ava aka DESAREE ↑ |
