Hello All..... After 6 months of having what we thought was the "perfect" match and birthmom......she matched with us 6 months ago from Tampa, Florida. She was an african american 29 yr old female parenting one daughter age 1 1/2 little girl and her son age 11 with her mother....and pregnant with alittle girl and 110% sure that she didn't want to parent we put her in touch with our attorney here in Tacoma and she flew here to stay with us until delivery....it was fun / interesting at times as we were supporting her here and all of her expenses back in florida.....and her little girl that came with her ....all was going wonderfully and all papers were signed the publication went out in the florida papers to all potentical bfathers...no answer and then we delivered a beautiful 5# 15 oz baby girl on Wednesday....and three hours before going home from the hosptal she decided to tell our attorney about the real birthfather....and an hour or two later she was on a plane with both girls to florida....so we are starting over....I just want to wish all a very Merry Christmas and hopefully we will find that perfect birth parent to start over with....but this is so hard for all of us...espcially our 7 year old son who fell in love with the baby as he was finally the BIG brother...Sam and I will be keeping each and everyone in our prayers this holiday season regardless of weather you are an adotive parents or a birthmom as this journey is so hard no matter which role you play.....we just pray for another opportunity

I'm soooo sorry for your loss...our second adoption in 2 months fell through tonight and I'm feeling sorry for myself and mad at the world right now..
