Well I for one would consider myself blessed to already have 2 children. Why the need for more? Maybe if you still really feel the need, you could consider adopting a foster/older child. But If money is an issue, then what makes you think you can afford to raise another child. Be happy with what God has already given you.

Hello. I understand that it's hard to come up with that huge lump sum all at once. I don't know what you think of this option but I was told by my employer that you could take the amount of money you need out of your retirement and just a small penalty for doing it. I know each worksite is different but it may be worth looking into.

What difference does it make if you are adopting and it will be your first child, your third or your fifth? WHen a woman says she is pregnant with her third child, people are very accepting of the news. How many children you choose to raise is a personal decision and just because a couple has children already, I don't think it makes them any less worthy to adopt. I am sure AAMom is very happy with her children, but longs for another one-what's wrong with that.

As for the financial aspect, adoption can be expensive. I would look into grants aimed at helping adoptive couples. You can also have your own fundraiser and raise money to be put towards your adoption efforts. The foster care program and state programs are also considerably less money.

Good luck to you and if you want more kids then you should adopt to complete your family.
