My husband and I are looking to adopt a child, not necessarily an infant, although prefered, but just under 2 years old. We are located in the Michigan area. I am a GN and my husband is persuing nursing as a career. We are able to have our own children, but would prefer to adopt because there are too many children who deserve loving homes. It would be selfish of us to hav a baby jsut be cause we are able to do so, and neglect the children who need parents to care for them. We are African American and open to race.
