We have "Baby Looney Tunes".

We both grew up watching "Looney Tunes"..so we saw the pattern one day and said "That's it!".

This is a cute one too!! BTW you are not the only impatient one:) Waiting is HARD!!!
Anyways, we have frogs and ducks as our theme. Steve keeps saying that our child will think that they are a frog or duck. (We even found some pj's and onesies with frogs and ducks on them!)

Well our first failed adoption we had Care Bears because it was twins (boy/girl)

We're since decided against that for this baby and are thinking if we have a boy, we'll decorate in sports and a girl in butterflies.
(We should know the sex next month if baby will cooperate!)

We're painting murals with a kind of cartoon theme. A tree of life, blue birds, hills, sky, etc. And a sun and moonscape on the ceiling. That way it doesn't matter whether it's a boy or girl. (We're not matched yet)

For boys it is Beatrix Potter/Peter Rabbit. When Andrew turns 3, he will get his "Airplane" room. I already have everything bought, so that too, is a done deal !

If we ever are also blessed with a little girl, it is called Enchanted Forest. It is crystal organza in pink, tufted, and filled with silk rose petals. Just gorgeous. I also have that bought and waiting in the attic!

Fun question !

everyone.. your nusery theme ideas sound wonderful. Luann I did my son's nursery in classic pooh. And now that he is a "big boy" (he is almost 3)..his room is now decorated in a nautical theme.

I chose a gender-neutral set called "Malawi" by Kidsline. Jungle animals in a variety of pastels. You can see it at:

We did fairy princess when we had our failed adoption. One wall was Tinkerbell sitting on a post with a sign underneath that said, Alexandria's Wonderland. One wall was beauty and the beast. Great castle and beauty waving out of a window. One was Ariel sitting on some rocks with a beautiful ocean and the other was Cinderella with her horse drawn carriage looking over a beautiful green pasture. Oh...yes this was a custom mural and it was gorgeous still have pictures. We will still do the princess theme if we have a girl but if it is a boy it will be cars, airplanes and firetrucks.

Our nursery is black and cream toile w/a black ultrasuede rockerglider. And we have a greek key rug on the floor. The curtains are striped black and cream so it won't be "matchy matchy". Which I hate! This week I was away and spent time with all my sewing and quilting and knitting friends down south. One close friend and I made an angel wallhanging together... it will hang on the wall above the crib once it is framed. It was a labor of love with two dear friends sharing their knowledge!

This one is fun too!

Our nursury will be froggies, froggies, froggies! With accents of other lovable little critters, like butterflies, dragonflies and ladybugs!

We will do blue, yellow and green for a boy and lavender, pink and yellow for a girl! I have cute froggies of every size, shape and description just waiting for 'their' big debut! We also have tons of froggie knick knacks, every froggie outfit we've ever seen (we have every froggie set, girl and boy, that Gymboree has ever had, with all the matching hats, bibs, socks and shoes for every outfit!) and even froggie pacifier holders, bathtub toys and books! My friends even buy me froggie things for our baby whenever they see them. I love themes...

We will let our child choose his or her pattern as they grow older... if the boys want cars or horses or Spiderman... it will be up to them! The girls will be allowed to have princesses, Barbie, Care Bears, Dora or whatever else they can dream up! I have dreams for my children, but letting them become their own little person is very important to us!

For boys, I do love this color theme - crayola red carpet, white walls spattered red, and a crayola color fan. Then the bedding and the toy boxes, etc. can include the primary colors.

Flowergirl,
Quick question, where did you get the froggie pacifier holders? That is pretty much the only thing frogs that we don't have! Thanks.
