You have a great website. Joanne has a nice site as well. Have you had great responses with your site? Did you create it yourself? I concur that you have a beautiful family. How do you find open adoption? I was wondering - if it is hard for the mom to see you in the parent roll or do you think that minimal contact would be easier? I see the benefits of both, but I think that open adoption would be better for all.

What are your feelings,

Thanks for the compliment Gracie. I have not really advertised the site much yet. I am early in the process and waiting for January 2007 when my company will pay $5K towards the adoption. I did the site myself, but I a computer savy person and enjoyed creating the site! Just word of mouth among friends and such and I have gotten over 100 hits for the month of October. I also try to get my site on the top of the search engine list. if you are interested in builing a webite or making it look more interested, I can help you with that. Good luck! Joanne ↑

What do you mean that waiting for Jan of 07 when my company will pay 5K. Do they have a program at the place of your work? Or is there somekind of legislation, tax credit, etc. coming out?

My company is in the process of merging with another one. As of January 1, 2007, we will fully be under their benefits program, which includes adoption assistance. Right now we are in pre merger status, so adoption assistance doesn't apply yet. That's a nice bonus! ↑
