Hi,I have been reading to posts here and have been shocked at people's attitudes, they act like babies are cats and dogs to be bought and sold.I have also noticed that pretty much everyone is wanting to adopt a typical healthy child, preferrably a girl, and preferrably white.
This has made me sad.Is anyone here interested in adopting a severely disabled infant? One who will perhaps never walk, never talk ,will have no purposeful movements,a child whose body is daily wracked with seizures and muscle spasms?A child who is on a feeding tube, possibly a vent, and trachea?A child who is born with water on the brain, down syndrome,or possibly no brain, or cerebral palsy?
Does anyone here know what joy can come from raising one of these special angels?
I know that many infants are being born with severely debilitating disorders and I personally know the struggles that come with parenting these children.I want to make it kniown to all birth moms who are considering placing your infant who has been prenatally diagnosed with a condition that you do not feel that you can handle, please contact me.I will do anything to help you.I would love to be able to provide a home for your special angel.I am totally open to open adoption,to the extent that you would wish.I am also willing to put you in touch with other parents of infants and children with such conditions that your child has been diagnosed with. Please feel free to contact me anytime at [email protected]

I would adore an infant with special needs. Sadly so many times if one wishes to adopt or even do a legal guardianship the costs can be prohibitive. Feel free to email me at [email protected]

If you're truly interested in Special Needs, there are many on this site, some being only a few months old.

I have 1 special child now. 2 special brothers. My other child looks like she may need a little help later. I can not have any more children of my own. I always wanted a large family. If I got the chance to adopt a child I would always pick a child with special needs. My family is very supportive of special children and I love them. Just a smile is a pure joy. My youngest wants more brothers and sisters. It just costs sooo much to adopt. If I could find someone that wants to go outside of an agency I would. I have a wonderful lawyer.
