| Kelly, I think the majority are scams. I have not been on this board long but the little time I have spent here I think alot of it is people playing with everyones emotions. My suggestion is to stick to a reputable(sp) forum board like Yahoo's 2 adopt, where you get support from the adoption triad. I know we all get desperate at times to find our babies, and I am NOT saying that there are not women on here looking to place I am just saying they are few and far between ↑ |

| Kelly, I think alot of these are scams to. I haven't been on here long. But I have emailed a few of the birth moms and not heard one single thing.I have even posted on this site and still haven't heard anything. I mean they don't have to choose us but it would be nice to know what is going on with them. I am not saying they are scams but I do think alot of them are. ↑ |

| there are a few Amoms on here too that will write the potential birthmom and talk down about the other Aparents. I have personally witnessed the email where someone from this forum did that to a birthmom. As much as it hurts to be scammed by a birthmom, it's even a more painful to see an Amom stab at others thinking it makes her look better in the Bmom's eyes. (which btw in this case, it made her not even consider the Amom because of how she spoke down about the other parents.) So be careful with everyone you meet on these boards. You never know who you can or can't trust. ↑ |

| I've got quite a few emails from birthmoms that have posted here and then lurked and surfed around reading older posts and just plain wouldnt post here again. The reason I was given was because of the ones that were attacked by some more aggresive woman who run all over the board like the god squad and scare offf these girls. so they never come back! I've met amoms here also that are fantastic and I still have an EVERYDAY emailing with them. At the good end of this board lies some very wonderful woman!! Not amoms or bmoms but true woman!! My exper. here was not all the positive but I'm so glad I had it cause out of the attack came a beautiful friendship and I've met allot of bmoms as well off this board! One of the reputable boards I belong to suggested word of mouth being the best way to find a bmom or for a bmom to find an amom. It's exactly how I found the afamily that will adopt baby Jack on August 14th (date of induction) and I'm greatful!! this is just my opinion HUGZ TO ALL ↑ |
