I own an adoption agency in NC. We have a 25 year old caucasian birthmother due end of June 08. She has placed 6 children previously. Her baby due is also caucasian. She is married to the BF, only a few weeks., and already separated. He has never financially supported her during the pregnancy. She has medicaid, has prenatal care. She was previously matched with one of our couples. This birthmom requires a lot of attention and that can be challenging. However, our adoptive couple was not able to deal with her large need for attention and they have withdrawn from the situation. We are looking first for a NC approved couple. Her bills are about 1100 per month and we need to pay the first couple for her housing, moving, and set up. She will also need money for aftercare after placement in order to get back on her feet.
