| I was just wondering the same thing, Megan. It seems there are plenty of "adopt my baby" post, most asking for "a little financial help" (makes it sound more like black-market baby selling if you ask me). Honestly, I have never heard of anyone adopting a child via the internet. There is allot of legal paperwork and red-tape involved in adoption so a simple "who wants my baby" just doesn't work. Don't get me wrong, I wish it could be that simple (I'm barren) but all that mambo-jumbo is set up in order to (hopefully) secure a safe and loving family for the adopted child. A smart woman would not post on the internet something like "looking for loving family to adopt my kid". No, she wold go to her local Social Services office and place herself on their list if she is pregnant, or the child if he/she is already born. ↑ |
