As for getting help for adopting a baby I first need to mention that some companies have a benefit for adoption so if you and/or your husband are employed to check with HR to find out if that is a benefit for you. Secondly if you would go through Department of Social Services for your home study your adoption would be free. They may take a little longer to get this study done but the price is right. Then you can adopt from any agency who approves your home study or a private adoption through a lawyer. Generally not having perfect credit does not hinder adoption. In fact even some adoption agencies have special funds for those who truly cannot afford to adopt but who make great homes. It is more important to have a stable relationship with your spouse (unless you are single of course) and you have a commitment to raise a child in love no matter what happens in life. It's kind of like a marriage in that respect. | Okay people I'm not understanding all of this. I understand Nicole is real. But did Janet truly talk with her? Did Nicole not notice her stories changing? Or the heartaches, sob stories, woes? And why is she wanting a grant if she is adopting surely she found the money before she started adoption papers? And when we adopted we paid for everything ourselves. The same as when we had children we paid. Now when we went thru the state in which we live the cost was min. ↑ |
