We found a lady that we liked a lot. We talked all day over the internet and I even got my hubby and his sister involved and contacted my attorney that I met someone who would be an affordable surrogate. However, when I told her that we wanted to go with her and that I would have my attorney draw up a contract, I didn't hear back from her. Then later she told us she was talking with another couple and she wasn't sure who she was going to chose. :( Well we became disappointed and my hubby now wants to focus back on the adoption process. I agree with him. Most surrogates are more than we can afford. And there is no guarantee that it will take.
Anyone else run into this? She would do home insem for $12K. It almost seems like if it is "too good to be true" than it probably is. ↓
