| Hello everyone, Sorry was having some comp problems and it still is freezing up. I don't want people to think it is like some top secret agency because its not. It's just that when I volunteer with the organization and you actually "speak" to girls who need help then we are suppose to keep information confidential. As some of us have seen, there have been some scams. I would not want anyone calling a legitimate organization that runs off private donations, not federal and tying up lines that could be for a real life crisis. I just don't want to get into any trouble. For example, I represent this organization, I start chatting with someone who needs help and direction and its posted for everyone to see, I'm in violation of the written agreement I have signed. However, when we speak through phone, email or chat and it's one and one, then no one else sees and it's not breaking confidentiality. One thing these girls need is to be able to trust. Alot of these girls don't know who to believe or who to turn to. I have met few that will post the real truth on the board. They don't want to put it all out there. They are young and scared. Very hard to build a relationship on lies. Best to start with the truth and the best way to do that is by trusting. I have found that most of these girls just need some guidance. I think this board is wonderful for all those adults who are genuine and can make a connection with these girls. Sometimes the best thing is to chat. ↑ |

By you naming the agency that you are a volunteer for - you wont be in violation of any agreement that you signed.
If you volunteer for a reputable agency - then there must be someway to contact them 24/7 ....WHAT IS THE TOLL FREE NUMBER ? WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE AGENCY ? You have only left your personal email for Birthmoms to contact you. If I were a Birthmom - I wouldnt trust you!
It just sounds fishy that you won't mention the agencies name..... does this agency that you work for advertise to potential Birthmoms ? If so - then why are you trying to solicite them ?????

Kim we are all very curious as to which place you so Thoughtfully volunteer your time to? I would love to be able to assist as well. I also happen to have a good friend whom is also a birthmom in a very loving open adoption that wishes to volunteer her time as well. | I think Kim is a big FAT fake! I'm pretty sure we won't be hearing from her any more (YEAH):) I think we should start questioning everyone we think in a fake get it so they don't think it's so much fun to mess with other peoples emotions. It's too bad birthmoms and hopeful adoptive parents can't come on here without worrying about being conned!! I say lets fight back. ↑ |
| Why do they come to a chat froum in the first place? This is not the place to find a birth mom. There are so many more fakes on here than there are real potential birth moms. Why would you want to put yourself through the pain of finding out the birth mother is a fake and there is no baby? ↑ |
