Yes and that is sad. I can tell you from an adoptive parents view it can be very hard when you are not chosen, but I feel that every thing happens for a reason.

I does hurt very much when a family is not chosen. Many of us have been turned down, or chosen then "unchosen," but it is something that most of us understand is part of this journey. Please don't take it personally if people say hurtful things - it's a very emotional process for both birthfamilies and adoptive families. Just do what feels right in your heart.
