Hey Stephanie- I couldn't agree more. I really think that the whole internet thing can get out of hand. Genuine people are accused of being rude/fake/and heaven knows what else. There are bad people out there but not all people are bad or out to get you. I tend to believe there are more good people in this world than bad.

It is a shame that this board has had its share of scammers in the past and that has ruined it for all the real genuine birth moms and adoptive families. If everyone is patient and hopeful though we can all sort through it together. The answer is not to accuse everyone that comes on here of being fake though. Treat people with dignity and respect until they have you given you reason to do otherwise and this board will be a much better place :)

Sometimes the lashing out is a way to express the hurt feelings. Yes, there are scammers, of every kind - but there are legit people on this board - and YES, matches do sometimes happen here. | people shouldnt lash out at anyone because they are hurt. I mean a birthmom can and will take it the wrong way and not end up picking you as a result. just because one is hurt theres no excuse to lash out and i am sick of the excuses ↑ |
