People say all the time how they marry their high school sweethearts, but not until they are older. I am 18, and literally just married mine. She doesn't turn 18 for another year, but she graduated early for her age, and our parents let us marry early because of the strong love we have always had for each other.

We've dated ever since we were young kids in junior high, and were friends but had kid crushed on each other before then when we were little. We also grew up together as we were neighbors our whole life, and played together as children. Our families are good friends.

As we got older, our feelings began to change more for each other. We grew naturally closer, and grew closer and learned more and more what love was as we got older. It was like it was meant to be.

I saw her go from being a skinny tomboy with bruises and cuts on her knees and arms everyday,(like me,) grow into a very very pretty, petite girl whom I saw would fit entirely perfect in my arms when I was 14 years old. Every time I walked by, her cheer leading squad friends would always giggle.

I'd ask them why they would giggle every time I walked by, and they ask me. Don't you get it. "She wants you as her first boyfriend, You're all she sees." I played like I was surprised, but i knew it was true, because she was the only girl I ever wanted, as I was the only boy she ever wanted. I was just to shy to ask her early at first. then one day when we were walking home from school the next year when we were 15 and 14. I stopped her, looked her in the eye, and kissed her very softly. I told her, I've always wanted to do that, and she said she wondered how long it would take me.

From then on, it was understood that we were a fixture as boyfriend and girlfriend. everybody was jealous of how close we were, and of our growing love for each other. We never slept together while we were dating, as we both wanted to wait until we were married, which we did and it was very special.

Last year when we entered into our senior year in high school. She had turned 16, and I 17. I couldn't wait any longer, and I secretly went to ask her dad for her hand in marriage, if I could ask her. I told him I knew were were young, but I also knew we could do it as well. We were both smart kids. He was nervous, but he put his hand on my shoulder, and said," I know you'll be a good son in law. To me, you've always seemed more than a son, even though i wasn't his son, and gave me his blessing.

I had been saving up lots of money since I was a lil kid, and went to buy her an engagement ring with it. I drove her out to a private place overlooking our village that I had always kept as a young boy, my secret place, hideout. I had candle, music and a picnic all set up. I told her this was my secret place, and now i want it to be yours as well, because I want you to be mine, and gently put the ring in her hand. I asked her,"will you be mine?"

She was so stunned, she couldn't speak. She started crying, and finally through her tears, she kissed me very softly, and long and said she loved me so much, she couldn't imagine anyone else, and yes she'd be my bride. I picked her up in my arms, and swung her around, kissing her. Our wedding was very special, ans eh literally looked like a princess walking down the aisle with her dad. everybody was stunned at how beautiful she was, but I smiled and knew how lucky I was.

5 months ago now, we were married on her 17'th birthday. On our wedding night, I understood how important it is to wait for real love and marriage, because i will never never never forget our wedding night, our first night of making love allll night long. It s the best day and night of my lif, sharing our love with each other. I held her tiny body entirely in my arms on our wedding, as we rocked slowly back and forth, kissing each other, and telling each other how much we loved each other.

the five months that followed have been better than anything I can explain. We got a small one bedroom apartment, getting ready for college, when she noticed she was getting morning sickness symptons not long after our wedding night. We fond out she was pregnant, and just a few days ago that we were having a girl. We think she may have conceived on our very wedding night itself, which makes our unborn daughter all the more special. I have decided to work full time for her father, while taking part time classes for now. I will even work overtime if I have to, so we have enough money, and that she can still go to school, and be a stay at home mommy. she told me she wants to be a stay at home mother for right now, while going to school, and both our families agree that that is the right thing to do.

I know we are both young at 18, and 17, but we are handling everything just as well as a couple in their 20's would with the doctor visits, finances and all that stuff.

What would others have done in our situation. I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather be than with my wife, and our future unborn baby girl.

We make passionate love at least 7 times a week. is that unusual for people our age? A lot of times, she desires more.

Also, her regular weight is only 100 pounds. Is that ok for a small girl her age to be pregnant and to make love frequently? would I hurt our baby, since I am twice her size? I usually just hold her all the way inside my arms, and lap.

Kodos for you both. Its challenging no matter what age. Some say the true measure of your relationship is how often you make love.. so it sounds like you are doing just fine.
Enjoy this wonderful stage of your lives.
