I do not want to intrude or upset anyone, I am doing a paper for an English class on Austism and would like to get factual and real life information on how it is raising an austistic child. I work with special needs children at school, however I know it is often very different at home with children.
Thank you for your time, please know I do not mean to intrude.

Thank you,
Linda C.

You can ask me anything. I am doing research as well for my personal wellbeing and dont mind answering any questions you have. I have a 3 year old daughter with mild autism. We are trying to get further clarification as she might have asbergers syndrom. I am still researching and haveyet to seeanother specialist

I have 2 autistic children and 1 that is not.
The child without autism I could quite easily have 10 of him and still find parenting a breeze, yet the other 2 and I am dead on my feet.
I am drained daily, emotionally and physically and some days I really want to know how to quit this job.
When things go bad they go beyond being able to explain but luckily when you have structure and routine you can keep things calm for longer periods of time before they all blow up in your face again.
