Name: leesann [ Original Post ] This Institute claims to be able to diagnosis autism using EEG's and MRI's. Has anyone heard of them? The ABC Morning Show did two short pieces on them recently and it sounds very interesting but they don't take insurance and I'm hesitant to pursue this without finding out what other parents think who've had experience with them. I would go to the Autism Asperger Resource Center in Kansas City with Dr. Sue Ann Kline, Director (look her up on the internet) I had her come and observe and evaluate and make recommendations to my son's school along with an attorney at my side. She is excellent. If you are going to pay for it go to her. If you have insurance I think she also take this also. all I know is the school had to pay for mine because I disagreed with the schools evaluation and your rights as a parent is that you can request an Independant Eduation Evaluation where you choose the person to evaluate. ↑
