Hello Aggie, we have had a huge success with Baby Enstien baby video's and he has now moved on to the toddler ones. With in hours, no word of a lie he was counting to 5 along with the DVD and he was counting on his own with in a week. All we let him watch now are educational DVD's like Winnie the Poo stuff, Baby Enstien, etc.....What we found really helped was putting head phones on that covered his whole ear. Blocked out any addition noise and he stayed "In tuned" for the video. Hope that helped.

Ontario_Father, there is a toddler baby enstien? Which one did you get for the counting, as I am trying to teach my son to count. I have the first word, head to toes, first moves, fun symphany but never seen any for the "toddler".

Hello ItI, I have it in my hands now and it is called Baby Einstein, Number Nursery. I just happened to pick this one up one day while in Walmart and he took to it like crazy. The next day i went and purchased a couple more. They really helped with him in speaking and counting. He has now moved on to Winnie-the-poo shapes and sizes, etc. As well as the Baby Einsteins for 2 to 4 year olds. If you want titles just let me know and I will write them down for you.

i actually bought the vhs set of baby bumblebee for my 3 yr old autistic son in december. i started off slowly, letting him watch volume 1 for 2 months straight every night before bedtime, now he is on vocabulary volume 4. i have not seen any drastic changes but he does enjoy the videos very much, he gets very excited and loves watching them over and over. so either way i find it better for him to watch these videos compared to something like power rangers or something. at least it is educational. my son is stuck to the t.v like glue though, so i really like the movies. they also play classical music very much like baby einstein does.

Wow Whitneyw, he can count to 18!! That's wonderful, so it is actually helping. Ontario_Father, thank you for the tip. I went to WM and found the counting Baby Einstein. Put it on today and after watching it for awhile, he blurted out "1, 2, 3" as the train goes by!! This is great!!! :-) Aggie, it seems to be worthwhile to buy one of this educational thing...it is definitely better than Power Ranger.

Both my boys ages 4 & 5 are on the autism sprectrum and we LOVE baby bumblebee!!! My parents bought the whole set for us when our first child was diagnosed and what a huge help they have been. Even over the last 3 years since the diagnosis they still watch them from time to time. I was skeptical at first, but just amazing how they work with the children! Best of luck to you! I highly recommend the series!!
