Name: Lauren Title: His 1st Birthday, want it to be special

I'm a 21 year old single mom with a 8 month old baby. I know it's still 4 months away but i would like some ideas on his first birthday party. He doesn't have many family memebers on the fathers side that care to see him and he has been pushed around since birth because of family conflict. I want this day to special for him and easy for me. Me and his father aren't together so how do i make it comfortable for him? How do you cope with the wanting to be the parent to sit with him and play with him on that special day without getting jelous over his father being there for once? Any ideas?  ?
