when your nursing and your cycle returns is it regular, or can you skip months? I had my first cycle after giving birth last month, and I was wondering if I was supposed to get one this month?????? ↓

In my experience I got my period, or sort of, the first month after birth and then I didn't get it again until DS was nearly 14 months old then it was full steam ahead and that first one was a doozy. ↑

i had one last month on the 18th and by a 28 day cycle yesterday i was due for another, i have all the sympyoms of an impending period, just no period, i have cramps in my lower back, achy breast, headaches, I was just curious if you can get the symptoms and no period? or just an irreg. cycle ↑

Everyone is different and every pregnancy is different. Everything that you are experiencing is normal. The only time you should worry is if the period is constantly really heavy coupled constant pain and lots of big blood clots. Some women get their period eight weeks after giving birth and some dont get it until they stop breast feeding, others get it on and off some get it every month. Some dont bleed but get the symptoms....Its all normal. ↑

I had my daughter in Oct. my first and only period was mid Dec. and now I haven't had one since. ↑

I must be one of the lucky ones.. I didn't get a period until I my kids were almost totally weened from nursing... I'm talking 14 months.... ↑

Do any of you know how common it is to not have a period if you only pump 2 oz or so a day??That is all the milk I release a day And I have not yet gotten my period. ↑

are you breast feeding? I am and I havent got mine yet, I also have just started back on the pill too. I hope I dont get mine for a long time ↑

Your period will come no worries. Everyone is different on this one so there is no set time for getting it back. I have known women that have never skipped a beat and then there are others that don't get it back until after baby is done breastfeeding. #1 thing to remember YOU CAN STILL GET PREGNANT WHILE BREASTFEEDING!
