this is a bit random but i jst wanted to ask somthing, ok so for the past 2 and a half weeks i have been feeling onoff sick all day everyday and feel constantly tired and constipated, back cramps ects, to be honest i thought most of the sings on pregnancy! i did test today coz i was due on a few days ago but test was neg and no period, i am still bfeeding my first and have been told periods can be late, lol i swear im not imagining it! i guess what i wanted to no is if anyone else has had an experiance like this and can breastfeeding cause pregnacy like symtoms (i am partially breatfeeding and weaning my 9 month son at the mo) this constant sickness is doing my head in! thanks jo ↓

Not sure as not yet breastfeeding, but I doubt it makes you ill. But we all know pregnancy does! That was my first pregnancy symptom - and I'm near 30 weeks and still vomiting! Maybe it's too early to test? ↑

I don't know about b/fing causing pregnancy symptoms, but I do know it can mess up your periods. Maybe since you changed how you were b/fing (I assume you just started weaning?) it caused the hormones to change and caused your missed period. I also agree that it might be too soon to test. If you're still feeling pregnant in a week or so, and still no period, maybe test again? ↑

hi well have been weaning sice 5 and a halkf month and my son is now 9 months, since 5 months my periods have been pretty regular so is first monbth without one, i think ill test again in a week or so thanks jo ↑
