I just left a relationship of 14 years, He was controlling, mentally, emotionaly and occasionaly physically abusive, now he is blaming me for tearing up our family, and is begging me to come back..i am getting weak because he keeps saying he will take the kids and keep them. Im so confused I dont know what to do. We have 2 daughters together and my son who left because he didnt like seeing his mom "scared" all the time, my daughters are young and think highly of him, since he only did things to me while they were sleeping. I wont talk about him to them so they think i am wrong leaving..He isnt helping by crying all the time around them...so do i go back and live the way i have been? ↓

you sure that isn't my ex husband. It doesn't get better. I have been divorced for one year. I have two kids and he is still controlling and mentally abusive through my kids. We were married for 21 years. I am now 44. He drinks a lot and now that he doesn't have me to mentally abuse he calls my kids and does that to them. Hopefully there are no kids involved with this. If not I say leave yesterday.. ↑
