I'm looking for suggestions on how to deal with my fiance's x wife. I am completely scared of her. She came to our home a month ago and ended up assaulting me punching me mainly in the abdomen. I had to be taken to the hospital because i am very pregnant with twins. After a day in the hospital i was released. The cops in the my area did nothing. They even let her leave with her and my fiance's children. The judge i went to for a restraining order refused it on the basis that she was under alot of stress because of the recent loss of her sister and deamed her safe. I am now in my third trimester and worried that if she comes over to the house again this time i may be alone. My fiance is also concerned because she would beat and stab him on a regular basis when they were married. He hates to go to work but has no choice. Any ideas on what we can do to keep her away.

Is there a friend or family member that can come to your house on the day she is suppose to pick up the children? Try to set it up that someone will be around and with you on those times. You could have them video tape her when she comes up to the house. Try to hide your family or friends car in the garage or down the street. This way, someone else can be a witness to what she does. When my fiance had to go out of town, his father came to my house on visitations nights just in case my ex tried something with me. Sometimes, he parked his truck in the back so he couldn't see it. I'm surprised the judge declined the order especially with medical proof. Yet, that is your word against hers. Also, when she comes to pick the children up and your husband isn't home, say your good-byes to the children and watch for her to pull up. The minute she does have the kids run out the door close and lock it behind them. Also, if you all do happen to go back into court, request that she exchange the children at the local police department. They usually have security cameras around the building that monitor the outside. This way, if she acts up, it will be on tape. Granted, it's not something you want the children to have to go through but your safety and unborn babies are of great concern. You've got to try to have other witnesses see what she does. Ask a neighbor to help watch for you as well, if you have one available. Keeping her away is hard unless you have the restraining order but sometimes that just creates an even bigger demon. This womans sounds like a nut job. You have to reach out to other people around you for help. I hope this helps but it doesn't sound like the judge is on your side. Maybe you can request a different judge for a restraining order if she does this again? Keep me posted.

move! far far awaybto a different state. if she's that psycho to punch you in the tummy while pregnant then she might do it again. i know its a hard advice but if the authorities arent helping then you should help your self.

What! deamed her safe. Because she cant control her emotions PLEEEASE!! She needs anger managment. That judge is asking for this to end up in his courtroom again.stay away from this crazy women. Let your husband handle it. why are you the one expected to handle his kids anyway. I understand they are your kids too. But I always took control of My first son and didnt expect my 2nd husband to do it. We had a wonderful life too. I just think it is up to the bio parents to handle the there kids.(Unless there is a good reason they dont, Like one parent doesnt come around, or in the case of abuse,
On the days shes coming Id go shopping or for a walk. Especialy after this.
