| Hi christal,I recomend you to see a doctor ASAP it may be a sign of miscarriage. don't wait on things like that. I hope that everything comes out o.k I wil pray for you and your baby . To the rest of the girls here I want to say that youguys are very brave for seeking help I once found my self in your shoes. The feeling of being scared and to have no one there for you,I know . I was 16 and my noe fiance wwas 20 , I was using condoms everytime we had sex but then we stoped and I got pregnant. I told him when I started to see the firs signs . My family did not know. When I told him he told me not to have it because he didn't want my fam, to do any harm to me since I was still a minor. My fam found out ,because I got so sick that I ended in th ER and my mom cried and my family acted happy like nothing had happened ,but then a few weeks aftr I got kicked out my moms house and my mom wanted money from my bf so that she wouldn't go to the cops like she always threatened. Now I have my 2 yr old I leave far from my family my bf didn't give anything to my mom and things keep on looking up for me. Im homeschooling and My advice for all you girls out there is:DON'T GIVE UP iM NOT FEMMENIST BUT WE DON'T NEED A MAN TO RAISE OUR CHILDREN I am 20 yrs old and I WAS SCARED thank god my bf was there for me but DON'T WORRY NOW THERE ARE PLACES WE CAN REACH OUT FOR HELP AND IF GOD SENT US THIS KIDS THEN WE SHOULD ACCEPT NEVER ABORT. pLEASE LETS ALL COME TO MIND BE CAREFULL WITH WHO YOU HAVE UNPROTECTED SEX THERE ARE A LOT OF GUYS AND GIRLS WITH STDS AND HIV AND NOT TO MENTION THE UNWANTED PREGNANCYS . bE CAREFULL AND TAKE CARE OF YOUR SELFS i AM NOT CRITISICING ANYONE i JUST DON'T WANT ANY ONE ELSE TO GO THROUGH WHAT i WENT THROUGH . Hi my name is Tanya, I fell pregnant wen I was 14. I kept my baby and she is now almost 14 (Sheeesh!!). Anyway. I look back and remember how scared I was, and by the time I told anyone about my pregnany it was too late to do anything about it. When I was sure I was pg, I rang a help line and the only advise they gave me was to tell mu Mother... of course I didn't. I really am not sure if that is the best advise! You need to go and see someone, have a pregnancy test and discuss your options. Have a look in you telephone book and find out who you can go and see. You may need to make a few phone calls at first.
And about not being sure if you want a family... you are only 15-16, you can not be 100% sure of how you really want to spend your future. If you are pregnant, and decided to keep the baby, you have no choice, you have to have a family...It's really hard! I missed out on A LOT!! And I had to do it without a partner (he still doesn't see her)

| have you missed your period? I think you should go to the health department. Look it up online and call them. Ask to speak with a nurse and tell her whats wrong. Your parents should also know about this, they will be mad but you need help. STD's our out there and just because your young dose not mean you can't get them. I am sure you have a family who loves you, so turn to them. I don't know if you noticed but, peoiple here can be rude and others can be supportive. ↑ |

Girls first off you should always have double protection. Do not rely on a condom.. They are not fail safe. They can break. It should be your responsibilty if you dont want to become pregnant to protect yourselves. There are BC pills or the sponge or even the Depo shot. I loved taking the shot but it had bad side effects for me. Here is my story: At 19 I got pregnant and I knew I couldnt take care of the baby and I still had to finish college. My boyfriend at the time said he would be around to help me w/ the baby.. Which means it's up to ME to take care of this baby ALL the time. I knew I couldnt do that, so I had an abortion. (I dont want to hear from people about abortions.. it was my choice and I felt it was best for me). 5 years later, I got married and got pregnant. This time the way I got pregnant was I missed one day of my birth control pill. Yes that's right one day and then I doubled up like the package said.. guess what it didnt work.
I now have a very beautiful 12 year old daughter. I ended up getting Depo shots after she was born so I couldnt get pregnant. It made me gain over 100 lbs. One of the side effects. Then on top of that I stayed on Depo for over 8 years. Getting off of Depo it took me 18 months to get my period back. I was a single mom throughout my daughter's life. If any of you would like to know how hard it is being a single mom and having to do everything alone and pay for everything by myself then hit me up.
Now I am remarried and have been trying for over 3 years to get pregnant and guess what.. The Depo shots that I was on, there was a study out that if you are on it more than 5 years it causes you to become infertile. So now here I stand years later... a lot older than most of you and now I cant have another child so I am trying to adopt.
My message to you all is that 1) being pregnant at a young age is not as glorified as it seems. We all want to rock a baby and listen to it coo and hear it laugh but having a baby is a lot more work than that. There are long endless nights awake, hospital visits, daycare costs, feeding costs, and the list goes on 2) always think about your health... having unprotected sex can cause you many things yeast infections, STD's, unnecessary pregnancies, loss of family members that would be there for you for years to come.
3) things that we do have adverse affects on our WHOLE Life.. Not just the here and now.
Sorry this is so long but we all have our own choices to make in our lives and we have to look at the long run.

| I can understand where you are coming from. I'm 15 and I thought I was pregnent by a 23 year old. But I was also drunk so it didn't help much there. But yeah you might be paranoid, but you could also be pregnent. Go to the store and get a pregnency test. If you don't have a way to the store than ask a friend that has a car or a someone that lives by a store and have them go to the store for you. If you scared that your ex won't be in the baby's life don't tell him at all if you aren't. But if you are then yeah you have to. Hope I helped you some!! And remember use condoms!! lol ↑ |
