last night i began to have regular non painful contractions that have been steadily stronger and a bit painful overnight, not to mention my back has been killing me. i've been fooled by false labor before, but since i'm a week overdue i think it could be the real thing. anyone able to relate or give advice? ↓

| just a major "guess" but it sounds like that you are going into labor.. I remember my sister going into labor with her first child and she had the same symptoms as you..mild non-painful contractions that got stronger, accompanied with lower back pain.. She went to the hopspital at 9am and out came my niece at almost 10 hours later... ↑ |

GO TO THE DOCTOR and have your cervix checked. I am sure your doctor would see you.

I haven't asked for advice yet, and I'll tell you this one thing. IF I DID ASK FOR ADVICE IT CERTAINLY WOULDN'T BE SOMETHING STUPID LIKE THAT. Common sense should tell her to call her doctor. I will be 40 weeks on Saturday, and you can guarantee if I were unsure I would have gotten to the doctor or hospital as fast as I could.
